Volume III / Issue 16 — 25 October 2022
What does “vibe” mean? Well, Merriam-Webster defines it as “a distinctive feeling or quality capable of being sensed.” We use it colloquially to describe an environment or ambience, as in: That restaurant has a good vibe.
We know it when we see it, though we don’t often focus our energies on actually creating it in our own lives, do we? I think the closest we come is in decorating our personal spaces. From fabrics to colors, to artwork and other decorative accessories, we can choose what we want to surround ourselves with in our homes to create a specific feeling. So, where else can we create vibes in our lives?
Here at IOM, I created a company with an intentional vibe at its core: collaboration. We also have established our values as: authenticity, integrity, service, and fun! It’s a vibe we strive to uphold with every book we publish and every project we work on. You only need to look at our incredible family of talent to see evidence of the work we’re doing and the vibe we’re creating.
This is even more obvious when we publish books like Embodying Higher Frequencies by Awakening Healing Axis (coming November 1st!). As a Reiki Master Teacher, I can tell you that the “vibe” of this book is extraordinary. Franny Harcey and Tim McConville have outdone themselves in creating the second book in the “Higher Frequencies” series. From learning more about the vast array of etheric help available to us to understanding how energy works in amputations, Embodying Higher Frequencies is a vibe unto itself—both grounded and elevated at the same time.
If you’ve ever been curious about how you can work with the energies of the universe in a more directed and guided way, this is the book for you. It can help you both identify and then create the vibes you want to see in your own life.
All my best,
Martina
