As another year comes to a close, I often take a moment to reflect on everything that happened while also casting an eye toward what I hope for the future. Endings and beginnings create this magical space that affords us the opportunity to pause, and it’s in the pause that we can do our most magnificent work. Why? Because the pause is all about potential.
My wish for you this holiday season is that you take time to pause, look around, and smile. I know this isn’t a great time of year for everybody, but I also know that no matter how difficult things can seem, there is usually something (just one thing) around us that can bring a smile to our faces and our hearts. In the end, that’s what matters. For me, it’s often my furbabies who bring a smile to my face every day. So, I will leave you with their Christmas picture from last year, in the hopes that it gives you a smile… and maybe a giggle.
